Hi,

Does anyone know if you can tell from the hull number what model a whaler is? For example, whether it is a Montauk or other?

Welcome to iboats SailorGirl,
The ID on the back of the boat will tell me Model year etc. 1974, I believe, is the first year for the Montauk (although not the first year for the 16/17 foot whaler). A picture would also be helpful.
