Windshield alignment problem.

I just purchased a 1989 Coblat 222BR. Boat is in excellent condition with the exception of the walk through portion of the windshield does not line up properly. Has anyone else had this problem or a possible solution?

Does it not line up at the top or on the sides? A boat will tend to felx when put on the trailer, does it mis-align while o the water also?

It is completely out of alignment. Top, bottom etc... I can force the fit but hate to do that. It has been as bad as 2" out...like the opening is too small to close the windshield. When I force it closed and ride with it like that for a few days it seems to ease up... just was not sure if there was some kind of alignment adjustment that I could perform.
