Default What type of glue for sticking transom to hypalon?

I have recently purchased a 12ft avon inflatable and on closer inspection it seems the transom has had a problem with water intake. I think that who ever repaired it before was far from a speciaist and they have botched it, so I have taken the old one out and I am going to replace it. Can anyone tell me what type of glue I should use?. I have got some two part hypalon glue, would this be okay? If anyone can give any prepping tips this would be most appreciated. Many thanks Murphoir......

Well it is basically like patching a bicycle tyre .... you need to rough the area a little with sand paper and use a glue that they glue pvc pipes and fittings with, there are many different brands, ......
