i am trying to decide if swapping the 470 for the 4.3 is a good idea. I am not familar with boats. I found this 1984 Grady White Overnighter for $2000. The motor runs, but I have been having problems getting the boat to plane off. I have just pulled the fuel tank and cleaned it. There was some water stain in the bottom, but overall the tank looked good. I am also thinking of puttin a new carb on it. Is it work just swapping everything over to the 4.3? i would appreciate any help. Thanks Jim
