    90 Degree or 60 Degree V-4

    I have a 1996 Evinrude 115, this motor is a 90 degree V-4. The new Evinrude and Johnson 115's seem to be all 60 degree motors. What are the advantages of the 60 degree motor. I saw someone say on a post to make sure you get a 60 degree and was wondering why.

    Raytheon L265 fishfinder problem

    The finder seems to work good while the boat is still, but when i start moving I get crazy readings, like 1100 feet in a river. It also does not seems to show the bottom but just a lot of interferance. It also seems to be reading a higher than normal speed, like 55 mph on my 17 foot Seahunt...

    Spark Plugs for 1996 Evinrude 115

    My owners manual says to use Champion QL82C plugs in this motor, is this the correct plug for the newer fuels out there? I tried NGK plugs but now the motor idles rough and seems to be skipping slighty and down on power. I was getting about 5000 RPM WOT and now it is like 4200. If it matters...

    My owners manual says to use Champion QL82C plugs, is the the right plug with the newer gasolines out there. I tried NGK plugs but now the motor seems to be idleling rough and maybe miss firing.
