    I have a mercury force 120 that keeps eating starters. I want to make sure that I have the right starter but can’t find any info on my motor. I found the model and serial #s on the swivel mount and they are Model 1208f92c Serial. 026231 Any help finding info on this motor would be appreciated

    2006 mercruiser 4.3 cutsout at 2000 rpm

    My 2006 4.3 efi thunderbolt v system started cutting out at 2000 rpms and backfiring. I cleaned the carb and checked the timing but it stills does it. What should I check next? It starts great, idles great, and runs up to 2000 rpm fine

    water in 3 and 6

    So my boat thermo locked and never mixed the oil and water but it did have about 1/2 quart of water in the bottom of the pan .     I pulled the thermostat housing on my 2006 4.3 and was wandering if the balls with the screw thru them that the exhaust hoses attach to need to be adjusted or set in a particular place? they are pretty loose.
