We purchased a charging receptacle kit for our 1997 Honda BF5AM. Unfortunately before we could install, the motor was stolen. We have a line on a 2006 Honda 5 HP. Could we install the '97 kit in the '06 model?
Our '97 BF5AM was stolen shorty after we bought a charging receptacle off **********. I now have an opportunity to purchase a 2006 Honda 5 HP outboard. Part numbers are different for the charging system. Is there any way I can install the kit I bought for the '97 on the 2006 model??
