    ultra-sonic carb cleaning

    One question, is ultra-sonic (or sound) carb cleaning necessary? Boat shop want's 85 bucks per carb to do so, x 3 is big money for me. I'm sure it's very good and affective, but blame, 85 bucks apeice? Is anything wrong with imersion in carb cleaner and blowing them out with air?

    Bummer!

    Well, after weeks of outboard problem solving I discovered my 85 force's problem. Blowed adapter gasket, and water tube leaking at the rubber seal. Now to fix and put back together, one question however; what type of sealant should I use on adapter/motor leg when i put it back together?
