I'm trying to find my new boat after my last one (15' fiberglass lund) had to go due to rotten floor and transom. so i guess ill upgrade. I'm looking for something not too big (18' max) but preferably a 17'. Something good in ocean for it's size will be used for salmon fishing and pleasure...
how many hours can you get out of a chevy v6 180hp inboard? im considering buying a 2000 explorer 542 with one in it and guy says meter kicked at 45 but he,d guess just over 200 less than 300
basically looking for a smaller and lighter boat with a nice deep v hull and a small cuddy just big enough to sleep 1 or 2. will be in ocean but not far from shore. any suggestions?
Im considering buying a used 1985 campion 180 horizon. Its got a 150hp outboard yamaha on it. I cant find any reviews on this boat does anyone know this boat and care to share their opinion?

so i drilled these holes the one with more holes is right above the floor board and the one above that is about 9 inches above it. looks like the upper one is showing some early signs of rot. what the hell do i do now... do i bother with this...

i know the middle is hollow because i switched engines which were and are bolted on. i used marine silicone in and around the bolt holes.
