    When I bought the boat it had L77JC4's , so thats what ive been using. is there another plug that i should be using for better performance? Thank you for your advice.

    1976 Johnson 135hp v4 (bubble back) thermostat access???

    how do I access the thermostat on my 76' Johnson 135hp v4 bubble back? The seloc manual just says to remove the covers, but I dont see how I can remove the lower cowling without taking of the power head...Im sure you can service the thermostat without taking your entire engine apart. The manual...

    I want to check the thermostat on my 1976 Johnson 135 (bubble back). what is the secret to accessing ? The seloc just says to remove the covers, but I dont see how to remove the lower cowling without first taking off the entire power head. Whats the secret ?
