    Help .... questions on Merc 9.8

    Question .... does anybody know what this is for? The arrow on the right points to a screw and the other points to a lever on the throttle. The throttle lever hits this screw and doesn't allow it to open all the way. If I unscrew this a little will I get more rpm's? This is on my Merc 9.8

    MFG Calendars????

    I saw on another forum where they have calendars of different classic boats and I was wondering if there is an MFG calendar. Has anyone heard of one? If not, there certanly isn't a shortage of photos on here of sweet looking boats that would look good on a calendar. Any thoughts?

    Need help with transom repair w/pics

    I am new to boating (this is my first boat) and I discovered that the transom is rotted.     Can someone tell me if this is an MFG boat?

    I had to remove the people that were in the boat so that they wouldn't get upset with me for putting their pic on the internet that is why some areas are blurred in the pics. There were no markings on the boat when I got it and I was told that it was an MFG from the sixties. Does this sound right?
