Trying to find out why I’m overcharging
97 oceanrunner 200
over 2000 rpm my volts jump to 15.5-16+
swapped a new voltage regulator 0 change
tried each battery individually to make sure it was not the batterys
reading colts at my lowrance, installed a new dial voltage regulator, reading same voltage
I have a 97 Wellcraft 210 Coastal it weighs and dry at 3200lbs it holds 100 gallons i usually run about 3/4 a tank, i have a 15x17 prop, i run 28-30mph at 4k rpm, and wot i get to 39.6 or so per my lowrance gps at 5500-5600 rpm, i expected a higher max, but is this about right for my prop and...

Also i think my rectifier, went out, my tachometer started going wack and jumping around, then it stopped charging, starts up perfect but shows no output voltage, same as battery,
To start off i have an 97 oceanrunner 200, starts after a half a click, runs smooth as silk to full throttle, if i have open throttle and let off the throttle 2 quick the motor dies, if i easy it down everything is fine
so I had milky outdrive oil last week, so I pulled the drive pressure tested the drive and air was coming out of the universal joint seal, so I replaced the seal, and bellows and put it back together and it ran great, checked oil no water, i went out yesterday and on my way back i herd gimble...
Most motors u see water coming from an exhaust port uphigh
I am getting water output from a port above the prop and thats it, what should i be Seeing, please help me so i dont ruin my motor, i am new owner btw
Just bought the boat and its missing the clips that connect to the throttle and shift cable, to the linkage on the motor should be threaded on one side and a ball socket on the other side, also where can i get a diagram of the linkage i am missing 1 part
