I have 1989 johnson 9.9hp. I completly rebuilt the lower unit with all seals o-rings gasket etc. new water pump. as it was leaking oil out the prop exhaust. Or I noticed oil mixed with water in the prop.
I even replaced the seals twice as i had trouble the first time, went and bout a manual and...
