    Carburetor Rebuild Kit - 92 7.4L KC

Looked online at a few places and the carb for a 92 7.4L is obsolete as is the rebuild kit. Does anyone know the manufacturer of the carb on a 92 7.4L OMC KC? Perhaps another rebuild kit would work? Is it a Rochester or Holley etc? Grasping at straws... How can I tell? I changed...

Want to change spark plugs - 92 7.4L King Cobra

Would like to change the spark plugs in my boat. Have no idea when the PO changed them and the boat is idling rough and dying at low speeds upon acceleration (like around the ramp and dock) -- requires multiple starts. Question: Do I have to remove the manifold to get at the plugs?

Starting to locate some of the impeller after flushing from thermo housing and flushing the steering cooler. (Pic #1) The port on the right side of that is where the pieces have been trickling out (Pic #2). I haven't seen any water on the left port... In Pic #3, I see impeller pieces in the...

1992 King Cobra 454 - Overheating and loss of power

Greetings, We have a 1992 Four Winns Sundowner 225 (454 OMC King Cobra--not sure if it's the cone or dog clutch model) and put it in the lake today only to have it towed back to the boat launch  an hour later. Background: We had our boat winterized last year and it sat until today. We put...
