    Crazy exhaust question

OK this apparently is an odd question because I can't find anything relating to it anywhere - but I have my exhaust manifolds (log style) off my 5.7L OMC, theyre still in pretty good shape and was wondering if after I clean the rust off the inside of the water jacket with a rust removing agent...

OMC 350 dipstick / drain plug combo

Went to change the oil in my OMC 350 and realized I have a strange dipstick/drainplug combo. The dipstick tube is attached to a banjo fitting on the bottom of the oil pan and the plug holds it all in place. Im guessing this style gives you an accurate reading no matter the angle of the engine...

    Symptoms of overfull oil?

I have a 1988 Seaswirl Spyder with a fresh rebuilt 350 OMC. (5.7L) 14.5 x 19 prop. 2 bbl carb. All pretty much stock. It starts and runs good, but recently I noticed the oil pressure being very high - almost to 80PSI. The needle is very shaky(all over the guage) when at idle so I assumed it...

Outdrive won't trim down at speed.

Have to slow waay down to get the outdrive to trim down. then I can get going again. trims up no problem. You figure it would be the opposite since the pressure is pushing downward anyway. Any guesses? Hard to troubleshoot on the trailer or even sitting still in the water because it works...

Re: I feel silly, but who makes the Spyder 202BR? HEY! I HAVE ONE! You're the only other person on the internet Ive found with one. It is a Seaswirl. I have a 1988 202 bowrider as well. I've only had it for about a month and it has an aftermarket rebuilt 350 (5.7L) v8. I really like it. lots...

    Joining two gas tanks/cans

Howdy.. I have two older metal 6 gallon gas tanks for my little 14" 1960 Olympian w/40hp Firestone. They fit nicely under the splashwell and was thinking about running a hose form the bottom/side of one straigt across to the other. this would keep the fuel level equal in both and allow me to...
