I have a 1968 mercury 65hp that the remote control unit went bad,does anyone know if a different year would work on this motor or if I could buy a universal? And if so were would be the best bet to find it?
I have a 1968 mercury kiekhaefer thunderbolt motor that the forward control/ ignition,choke ect. are in a side mount on my 1978 tristar starcraft and the wiring is disinagrating and a safety hazard, can anyone tell me where I can get a new/used one?
