    I'm going to Cuba in January and usually go deep sea fishing twice while there. What lures would be best? What has given you the best luck? I'm sure they take the same tackle as they would else where, say Florida. We don't have salt water anywhere close where I am.

    I got this gem running like a top. Only trouble is I found a hose that has broken off the distributor.     Replacement windshields for vintage boats.

    I just bought a 16 ft. fiberglass boat ,motor and trailer. The boat was made at Brunswick of Canada in Dixie Ontario. Serial # 74339. The windshield had a branch fall on it last fall and destroyed it. The boat is about 40 yrs. old or more. Any companies out there still make those old windshields.

    Motor Identification. 65 merc with 4 stars on lower unit.

    Looking at a picture of a older 65 Merc. Has an almost black cowl with 2 bands of chrome, on the lower unit it has 4 stars then 65 hp behind it. I have no other info.

    1968 Johnson 65 hp V4 Missing at 3/4 to WOT

    1968 Johnson 65 hp V4 Finally got it on the water. Noticed a missing sound at 3/4 to WOT. Found one plug was wet Changed plugs, still. Changed wires as I found a crack in one of the housings. Still has a missing sound. Cleand points? still there, Any help would be appreciated.

    Cylinder Head bolt torque and pattern 1968 65hp Johnson V4

    Down loaded a manual off the net. Says to torque at 180 cu in. / 12 = 15 lbs? Pattern, Tighten from center out, a little at a time. Is this correct?

    1968 Johnson 65hp Low compression?

    Did a compression test on this motor and here are the results. Cold engine Cylinder 1 -80 lbs. 2-70 lbs 3-90 lbs 4-90 lbs. Let it idle for a bit and these are the results cyl 1- 80 lbs 2- 60 lbs 3-85 lbs 4- 85 lbs. Sounds like head gaskets ? Look at cylinder # 2
