My grease gun does not have an adjustment. In fact, I've never had a grease gun with an adjustment. Is there a special adjustable nozzle that is required?

Rebuilding my blown engine and looking for advice...
1. 1987 Force 125
2. exhaust port cover gasket blew in vicinity of bottom piston, spurting water into engine compartment. Don't know how long it ran this way.

Water is squirting from exhaust port plate (inside engine compartment). Manual shows two gaskets to replace.
Is any sealant needed or are these replaced dry? If sealant is needed, recommendations on type/brand/manufacturer? Clymer manual doesn't say anything about using a sealant.
Trim switch is barely working. Looking for suggestion on where to find parts or entire replacement console. Ones I have found on the net are pricey ($300-400). Any ideas on sources for used parts or for a universal throttle/gearshift unit?
