    In 2001 they where still using the 7.3 diesel in your truck I bet, any chance you could ditch the v10 and put in a 7.3?
    Wiring harness may already be set up for it.

    They are nice outside, no dirty smoke/ash inside.
    Unfortunately to much BTU loss, unless you have a ton or two of wood and it does not matter.

    Re skin the roof, the profile of the tin/aluminum that sears used for many years can be made at most roof suppliers.
    And they can most likely match the colour.

    I want to stay away from the ford 6.0 and the chev diesel pre duramax.
    I Need the engine to have lots of torque for our hilly hwys so the turbo diesel makes a lot of sense as well as the longevity...
