    He probably bought QuickSilver Premium gear lube at walmart and then added the additive.
    I think if you just use the QuickSilver Premium gear lube and change every season you should be good to go.

    I have a vinyl question just got vinyl from cabelas marine vinyl. But no fuzzy backing on it seems like good thick vinyl, should it have the fuzzy backing on it or does it matter?

    When the non res. license were 17 bucks a year and the marina was there we would fish the tires they had there for the boils and did real good. Would sleep on boat for 2 or 3 days and eat and drink...

    I would say you get what you pay for if I where you I would go for it. You will learn to read it as you go plus in the salt the stronger the better and folks here will help you when and if needed.

    I just did mine with the adhesive warm in the day time here but does drop to 40 0r 38 degrees at night. I did use a carpet roller when installing seemed to really set it down good rolled the heck out...

    Thank you had a friend help with lifting consoles and rolled the heck out of the carpet. Helped that same friend replace floor in his boat last year so we are both happy boaters now. But a boaters...

    OK cut pattern about 3" oversize on all sides and placed carpet in boat to check fit looks like will work out great. Tomorrow will glue down then trim when glue is set. Thank you all for the replys...
