Fishing Trip

I took my little 14ft Creek Runner in the little River where we live(summer haven river) and i found this spot a few years back. Anyways i took the boat out today and i caught some Mangrow snapper which i threw back. Then i almost caught this huge Red Fish but my line Snapped. What kind of lure do you recommend using? Thanks.

for redfish in my area the big bend you cant go wrong with a skitter walk by rapala or just a gold spoon is always good

Man, you threw back some good eatin fish with those mangrove. The size limit is 10" and you can keep up to 5 aday. Don'[t filet them, cause they're so small, but gut em, cut off the heads and broil them babies with some garlic butter and lemon slices.Yum!
Also, if you don't fish with the Gulp baits or the DOA shrimp, you are missing out on some easy to use soft baits. I have caught literally hundreds of reds, trout and snook using both of those. Also, I agree on the gold spoons for reds. They have always been a favorite. You may wnat to keep a m 52 mirrorlure with you as well.
