wear ring 96 seadoo GTI

Just aquired and got running had plastic coming out. Got the housing loose, is the drive shaft locked in. Any help on the correct procedure would be greatly appreciated. Went to dealer did not have service manual. Any advice on which and wear? Have always done my own outboard maitanance. thanks

I sent you a email,, the driveshaft has a carbon seal and the stainless part on the shaft has a clip or rubber o ring under it locking it in place, to get that off you should slide it to the back and expose the clip etc but if the pump is off it is difficult to do, as the shaft has nothing to hold it while you push back on the stainless part plus inspect that carbon seal they break easily and will sink your ski, I replace them with the old carrier seals, and be extra carefull about the 3 little orings on the pump where it mounts to the hull, I superglue them in place to keep from loosing them when reinstalling the pump.
