    Default ok he bought a yamaha gp800 '99 no fuel to cylinders

    nephew bought cherry, 99 gp800, super clean, and condition. been sitting, not getting fuel to engine. will start with a little fuel in cylinders. but not sucking from tank. compression 140 both, excellent spark. i'm new to this set up. is there a primer?

    they should be a choke
    sounds like carbs are gummed up
    if u need parts, i know a guy who has great discounts

    thanks for the link. removed flame arrestor, poured some premix, in carbs, and it fired right up, and ran like a champ.

    the carbs will probably need new diaphragms and the internal filters cleaned
    I once thought having a 6 figure income would be great,, now I have a 6 figure income TAX , wats up with that!!

    would you put an inline bulb primer on it? like an outboard?

    no, a plunger primer, that squirts fuel down the throut of the carb
    kind of like u did
