Good or bad?

I'm looking to sell my F16 to buy this thing.

Seadoo seat for cruise, jet-ski mode for fun. Seems to be a good thing.

And they seem to be quite cheap for their year, but they are very rare too.

They are fun skis. Kind of a jack of all trades, master of none kind of pwc. They have the same hull as the 97 to 2004 Seadoo XP's and some even have the same engine as the 98 - 2004 XP. If you can, get one with the 951 engine in it. Most people really seem to enjoy cart mode on the ski.
