    Default 1995 waverrider dies if I let of the gas

    I have a 1995 Yamaha waverunner waverider. When I go full throttle and let of the throttle it sometimes dies and the only way to get it started is to pull the safety lanyard and put it back and it will start up just fine. It does not do it if I let of the throttle slowly. Does anyone in here have Ny idea what it might be I don't even know where to start looking.

    By the way it's a 700 I put new fuel filter and spark plugs in it
