ok, im just wondering what the right way to put a thrust washer on. the local boat shop tried to tell me that it doesnt matter what the bevel angle is on the thrust washer. and he tried to sell me a mariner prop that was 3/8 of an inch to short for my mercury. he was trying to space it out with [B]flat washers[B] not the proper thrust washer with the correct bevel angle. im no profesional boat mechanic, but i know that the bevel angle have to line up correctly. then he told me to leave and never come back when i told him this. what a redneck boat repair shop. ok, im done venting
