    Default Prop pitch question

    Hi,
I've got an '86 Johnson 60 fiberglass fish/ski boat. Prop is 13 1/4 x 17" pitch. WOT is 35mph 5600 rpm. Can anyone give me a top speed guestimate and RPM on switching to 19" pitch?

Also. Rarely I've got 4 adults in the boat but it runs like a slug when I do. Will 19 pitch prop help or make it worse when fully loaded?

    Thanks!

19 pitch will not work. Going to lose rpm and hole shot. 35 mph sounds right on the money for a 60 hp on a 4 seater glass boat.

    Thanks guys.
I was thinking of modding it. Drilling holes for the exhaust to make up for the lack of holeshot performance.
