Bennington 2574 GCW - Yamaha 150hp - 4 stroke - Prop Question

Boat Specs:
Bennington 2574 GCW
Yamaha 150hp 4 stroke
Yamaha Reliance 14 1/2 diam x 15 pitch prop
Test Setup - 2 persons, light load - reached 35mph, 5300 WOT
Manufacturer WOT spec = 6000 rpm ( cant reach WOT specs with current prop setup )

I have been told I was in the range dont change anything, I have been told I should reduce to a 14 Pitch prop and I have been told to reduce to a 13 pitch prop. I have read where 3 blades were better and I have read where 4 blade special pontoon boat props would improve performance.

I would like to reach closer to the 6000rpm WOT specs recommended by Yamaha, and would prefer not to lose any top speed mph, if possible to pick up a couple that would be great.

Based on the specifications what are the recommendations of readers here?

If your specs are accurate your performance is excellent.
It would appear a 13" prop could get you about 400 rpm.
Assuming 5700 and a 13" prop same slip numbers you will lose about 2 mph.
But your speed and rpm should hold up better with a load.
