lower unit question

I have a 1995 50 hp 3 cyl evinrude and was curious if a 1987 lower unit would fit or if any other year besides 1995 would fit. <br />Thanks in advance for your replies.

No the 87 will not fit.<br /><br />Gearcase 40-50HP 1989-1998 will fit.
