Merc 115efi 4stroke - NO RPMS - VIBRATION

Help! I have a Merc four stroke 115EFI that was running great with WOP at about 5000 rpm. We had a battery post issue that was fixed - but now the engine vibrates like it and will only go to around 3500 rpm. Almost like it lost a cylinder or something. It's in the water and a pain to take out right now because of low water levels. Any suggestions??

If it is vibrating at idle and up it probably is something amiss on one cylinder. Mine didn't vibrate until the engine reached max rpm the fuel pump would support. It just kept getting worse until it refused to start. Out of the water it took me about an hour to get the pump out. Lower engine cover has to come off and intake manafold, but it is fairly straight forward.
