35hp Johnson 12v power on

Hi.
I've just purchased minnkota mk-1-dc charger for a trolling battery.
I'm using 35hp johnson with remote controls(power tilt/trim) on a Futura MarkII Zodiac.Instructions for the charger call for connecting one of the wires to 12V power with ignition on.
Any idea on what wire to use?
Any help really appreciated.

Don't know what year motor you have. But if you are looking for a wire that is 12V only when the ignition is on, there might not be one. But chances are there probably is a place for one on the ignition switch. It would be marked "I" or "A" or "Acc".

Oops forgot to mention a year. It is 1995.
I think I've figured it out. Checked it with a meter and it is a purple wire.
There is couple "spare" wires on the harness and all purple ones have 12v with ignition on.
