I recently aquired a new project boat (14ft Lowe) with an Evinrude 25 on it. The boat/motor runs great. On my 150 Mercury I try to have the impeller changed every few years. I doubt the one on the Evinrude has ever been changed. It's a 1984 model. How often are you suposed to change impellers on small motors like that? Is it a "do it yourself" project, or should I take it to a pro? It seems to have a good "pee stream", but I dont have alot of experience with smaller outboards.
