Okay, first off..I'm new to the boating community and may need you to spell out the acronyms. I purchased an boat with an '05 115hp Optimax (2cycle) last year and it ran great. I winterized by fogging the engine and using anti-freeze. I pulled the boat out and put it on the water this week. It couldn't pick up speed or plane out. Come to find out, only 1 of 3 cyclinders are working correctly (#1 or the top cyclinder). I replaced the expensive iridium spark plugs and the fuel filter and this did not work. The sparks plugs in port #2 & #3 are dry and have a burned look to them now. I pulled them out and they all spark well (I know this by way of sight and shock). I switched the plug wires around and it puttered but did not start. It's almost like there is not fuel/lube in the cylinders and they are stuck. What can I do without making this an expensive fix? Please help. Thx -J
