1962 merc

I have a 1962 25hp merc that needs a water pump. It takes a special tool to remove this impella. Dose anyone know where I might purchase one? Th e motor still runs good as it has had TLC for all its life.

Unless you get lucky and either find one on eBay or have a local, long-established Merc dealer who will lend you the tool, you'll have to improvise. The manual has pictures of the tool and you might be able to make something that works along those lines. This is definitely a job where the OEM manual is a wise investment....
