Evinrude 28402 won't spark and wiring issues

So I got a hold of a little boat with an Evinrude 1964 model 28402 outboard that just needs a bit of work done. My problem is they didn't have the manual and I'm at a loss as to how to wire it up.

I got the starter working, but that's about it. That means I figured out the hot wire goes to Battery on the ignition and the white solenoid wire goes to the unlabeled post on the ignition, and that lets it crank but we're not getting any spark, so we figure there's a grounding issue. But I have no idea what wire goes to the Ignition post on the ignition switch since it's possible the wire my dad had on there was incorrect. Anyone happen to have a wiring diagram of the motor? I've got a black, black w/ white strip and a gray wire hanging from under my dash and I have no idea what is what or where they're supposed to go.

We figure the motor won't spark because of a ground issue but I'm completely lost. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to listen! I can post any pics anyone might need too.

This boat is a project boat so I can learn this stuff since I've NEVER dabbled in anything like this. But I was so excited when I got the starter working that I'm hooked!

Plugs. points, coils???????

A good place to start might be with the Engine FAQs.

Finding them is an initiative test for newbies though.

It's the first item on the "Repair and maintenance index"

In particular JB's "OUTBOARD WON'T START"

No spark at the plugs I meant, sorry. Already found and read that guide but mainly I was asking about the wiring to the ignition as I have no idea what the wires do.

I have those 2 black wires hanging down and I don't know where to hook them. From what I've been reading it appears those are the two wires to connect to stop the motor? If so, I can't figure out how to rig that to my ignition switch, which has a post for Battery, Ignition, Accessories and an unlabeled one I figured out was for the solenoid. No magneto terminals, so I guess it's the wrong switch? Once I can figure out how to hook the wiring up, I'll follow it down to the motor doing testing to find the other issues.
