Re: fuel not pulling

Welcome to iboats DJ!

Fastest check is to try a spare tank, bulb and hose. If motor runs ok, your orig tank et al has a problem. Check tank vent, pick up screen for clogs, and primer bulb anti-syphon valves. To check the pump, disconnect fuel line to carb(s) and turn motor over, you should see fuel being pumped through fuel line. Manually working a working primer bulb pushes fuel past the pump to the carbs and motor should run until the fuel is exhausted.

If it only happened after you replaced fittings etc you may be pulling air from somewhere. Re-check all fittings if that is the case.
If the system is air tight then start looking further and deeper into it.
If you are cranking the motor to check fuel flow to the carbs it may start healthy enough but then diminish the flow rapidly.
Good Luck.
