Model and Year Info????

Can anyone give me any information on a Evinrude motor, model and year, I aquired today. It's suppose to be a 3HP of 70's vintage.
The serial number on the plate is all I could find. It was:
4006E-EO1270

I appreciate any info I can get as I'd like to get a repair manual for it.

The model number is 4006E which is a 1970 4hp Evinrude.

The rest of that number E01270 is the serial number.
