95 Mercruiser 3.0 Starter

Im new to the boating world and just bought a 95 maxum with the 3.0 Mercruiser I/O ... my problem is there was no starter on it so i ordered one but i have 4 wires and i cant figure out where they go on the starter ... can anyone help or have a diagram ? i have 2 reds a yellow and a orange ... thanks

red and orange wires go to the main lug where the battery cable goes,
yellow/red srtipe goes to the inner most small stud on the solenoid.

so the 2 red and the orange all go to the same spot ... that could be my problem i was tring something totally diff ... thanks alot i will give some updates after i work on it tomorrow
