Help! If I had hair I'd pull it out. The motor idles fine but as soon as I throw the throttle down it will start to come out of the hole but looses power. Like not enough fuel. Motor never dies out. I have cleaned the carbs, changed the filter, checked the fuel pump, changed the gas, checked firing, changed all the gas line, checked for leaks and have come up with no success. Any other suggestion before it goes to the boat doctor?

Have someone pump the bulb as you plane off, if this fixs it replace VRO. I have replaced 4 this week. My opinion it is the 10% ethanol added to fuel around here.

Well after rebuilding the carborators and finding the float seat blocked I thought I had it. Cranked her up and idealed like a new :) then it was time for a test drive. Not so good. Slowly came out of the hole and only achived 38 mph. Sucked down enough gas too run half a day. To the doctor she goes. As of post the spark plugs (no gap) have been replaced coils tightened. Still in the operating room. One thought on speed was that I have my back-up prop on instead of my stainless steal prop. Doctor says the motor is strong and compression is great. Enough to push his John Deer tractor. will up-date next week.
