The motor runs great and always has, the problem is when i get to mid to high rpm, the prop stops trurning, until i lower the rpm and it kicks back in. Just want to know the problem and if it is something easy enough to fix myself? I would greatly appriciate any help. Thanks Wayne

Sounds like a spun prop hub.

Make a mark across the hub, using the cotter pin as a pointer, then run the motor as you described. If the pointer is no longer aligned, the prop has spun on its bushing and will require repair by a prop shop or a replacement propeller.

See the prop sales on this site - they have real good pricing, especially on the Solas and Michigan Wheel units.
