Hi, Anyone have any thoughts on why my 1986 2.5l OMC Stern Drive Inboard motor wont engage? It clicks both out at the stern drive and inside at a relay and once or twice (if someone lifts at the same time ) has lifted.
The gears appear normal but i have noticed some fluid leaking outside of the centre of the gear. Until the unit is lifted I cannot remove the gear.
Any thoughts would be appreaciated. Thank you.
