Convert manual start to electric, 50hp Mariner 1983

Hy,
I have a 1983 mariner 50hp that is pull start I was looking on ebay for a starter and flywheel to make it an electric start and a friend told me that I would have to change out more parts. Can anyone tell me what all I have to do and can it still have the pull start with the electric start?
