Pesolite 3 Wire Tilt Motor Help Needed

I Have A Evinrude Sport 60 Hp 1967

The Tilt Motor, I Have Taken Apart.
The Reservoir Is Hold On With Four Screw, Not Five If The Help Id The Tilt Motor.

Question The Is A Switch At The Top Of The Motor, That Is On The Plus Side Of Course Is The Normal Open , Or Normal Closed.

Next , The Internal Motor Copper Stuff And Iron Core, What Should I Do To Remove Corrosion ?

Any Tips?
