hi i have a johnson 25hp i believe 1970's, its blue if that helps identify its age better. anyway my uncle tells me he thinks the fuel mix should be 500ml to 5litres which i take o be 10:1. but looking at most of the questions on here its seems 50:1 (which is about 75ml to a gallon) is most common, is it likely that it should be 10:1 or is my uncle perhaps wrong?

The fuel/oil mixture is 50/1..... 1 pint of 50/1 TCW-III oil to 6 gallons of gasoline. A octane rating of 87 will be fine.
