OK - I have three questions here...

The choke enricher valve is mounted upside-down according to the diagram sticker on the interior of the motor. And , by the way, my motor runs POORLY after it is warm. Could this be releated?

Also, I have put a multi reader to the stator leads according to the SELOC book and got irratic to no readings that fluctuated when I moved the flywheel. Time to replace it (?)

I have a new stator ready to go...any sugestions where to pick-up a flywheel removal tool. How hard to make one?

OOPS that's four questions.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Baja, On my '77 inline 6, the eight bolts (in a circle) in the center of the flywheel may be removed to allow the stator to be replaced. No need for a puller.
