Hoping I can get some assistance. I have a Late 70's Merc outboard. I have ajusted the foward cable everthing works great.....except when I power the boat down after going foward I hear a ticking noise from engine, have I ajusted cable too far ? <br />Also I have installed a new rev cable.....when I put boat in rev engine will rev up as if it wants to go...but nothing happens do I keep ajusting cable (probably a hard question to answer but which way should I be turning cables to adjusted.<br />Hopefully this post isn't too confused because I know I am.....Thanks in Advance
