I've had no joy on the maxrules website in finding the year that my newly purchased 15hp mercury engine was made. The serial no. is 9558253.Any ideas please?<br /> Could anyone suggest a website where I can download an owners manual or some technical info for my engine? Thanks

Your local mercury deal can get you one or visit www.mercurypartsexpress.com, type in your serial number and then find the manual. A service manual would be of much greater help than an owners manual.

Cheers,I was led to believe that it was a much newer engine but I had to make a quick decision about the purchase.Never mind, it is in very good cond. I wanted to get hold of a copy of the original owners handbook to read up on all the basics such as fuel mixture as I am no expert with engines.
