I have a 1994 150 XRI I just changed the water pump impellor on. I can't seem to line up the shift linkage on the lower unit to the top spline. I have everything lined up including bolt holes and the drive shaft. I just can't seem to line that last little sucker up. I've tried putting it in forward and reverse with no luck in getting them to line up. Any idears?
