What Size and year Sea King is this?
I just bought a Sea King motor Model # 45GG9016A - Serial # 510760 I'd like to know the year and horse power. Thanks

It is a 1954, 12hp, made by Gale Products Division of OMC. It is a Gale model 12D11

yea, typically with Gale made Sea Kings, you take the two numbers before the GG and reverse them and that is your model year.

It's been repainted and i can't tell what the two knobs on the front are for. Choke and idle speed?

The choke is a push/pull knob. Bottom round knob is high speed carb rich/lean adjustment, top round knob is low speed carb rich/lean adjustment. Clockwise leans the mixture, c-clockwise richens it. There's a help file in the FAQ's on this board that tells you how to adjust them.
