Made by West Bend, Chrysler, Force, Mercury/Force. All the same, they just kept selling the company, till Mercury abandoned it.

76X tells the year. Reverse the 76 and it becomes 67 ---1967 Nice of Wards to do that, huh?

Hi y'all from the cornusker state. I don't like to jump on other peoples threads but I couldn't find a spot where I could post a new thread. Help me out or just tell me to keep posting until I can become a thread startere.

Ok here is my problem. I've recently came into a 12 Wards Sea King. Three seats, semi-v, without a motor. It has no nameplate on it, and I want to know what my restrictions are. i.e Weight, HP, and total weight with gear.
Also I want to do a restore on it. Can I take the front seat out and put in a livewell and keep the structure and safety of the boat in tack. I only ask because I have a 5 yr old that does the catfishing thing with me at nights and I don't want to be the cause of a problem for anybody.
    Any help is appreciatted.
    Thanks

husker, I don't know the answer to your question, but go to the top of the page you are now looking at. See where it says "Sea King I.D."? Below that it says "iboats Boating Forums" which is underlined. Click on that to take you back to the main Forums page.

Now you will see "Boat Topics and Questions". Click on that to take you to the proper forum.

Now that you are in the right place, look immediatly above the list of threads, to the left. See where it says "Create a New Post"? Click on that. You should be able to figure out the rest.

    Good luck with your boat.
